In this unique adventure, your group will explore three animal off-exhibit holding areas and learn how we take care of our animals. This is an educational and fun tour you won't want to miss. This program is conducted September through April and on a limited basis June through August with a minimum of 15 students and a maximum of 60 students.
This special presentation begins in the classroom with the opportunity to meet several of our animal ambassadors used in our education programs. Then you will get a special behind the scenes peek at two animal off-exhibit holding areas. Animal Care and Enrichment
Start your journey in our classroom and learn about animal care and enrichment programs, everything from toys and special treats given to our animals to help enrich their lives. You will meet a few of the animal ambassadors used in our education programs. Out on zoo grounds, you will view an enrichment activity and also get a special peek behind the scenes and learn how we take care of our animals. This program is conducted October through March only with a minimum of 15 students and a maximum of 30 students.
Come for an hour or stay all day! Tour the Zoo at your own pace, any day of the year. In order to receive the self-guided discounted group rate of $11 per person, we ask that you submit a reservation form at least three weeks prior to your visit. Mimimum of 15 students, no maximum.
